Frequently asked questions about grip tiles
What is the difference between normal tiles and grip tiles?
Grip tiles have a special surface that provides more friction and therefore has a better anti-slip effect. With an R11 classification, these tiles are safer in wet conditions and areas where slipping is a risk, such as bathrooms, kitchens or entrances.
Are grip tiles more difficult to clean?
The Flora Marble Bone Grip tiles are designed to strike a balance between grip and ease of maintenance. Although the surface has more texture than standard tiles, they are still easy to clean with normal cleaning agents. For stubborn dirt, we recommend using a neutral cleaner and for larger surfaces, a scrubbing machine.
Can I use this tile outside?
This tile is primarily developed for indoor use and not specifically tested for the changing weather conditions of the Benelux climate. They are suitable for covered outdoor areas such as verandas, but for fully exposed outdoor areas such as terraces and garden paths we recommend choosing tiles that are specially developed for outdoor use.
