The AquaVik Askur fountain set combines a natural stone fountain with a cold water fountain tap in Nordic silver. With a siphon, drain plug and mounting hardware included, you have a complete toilet fountain in one go.
Design & finish
Natural stone is a natural product: every natural stone fountain has its own pattern, with veins, colour variations and sometimes fine hairline cracks. These are part of the material and do not affect its use. As a result, your fountain will always differ slightly from the photo.
The silver finish of the tap is a neutral metal colour that looks good next to both light and dark materials.
Application & compatibility
Measuring 38 x 18 x 8 cm, this fountain is intended as a hand basin in the toilet, cloakroom or another small space. The tap hole is on the right, leaving space on the left in the basin for washing your hands.
The tap is a cold water tap. It has one water connection, for the cold water pipe, and only provides cold water. A hot water pipe or boiler is therefore not required for this set.
Installation & use
Mount the fountain to the wall using the included mounting hardware. Hang the fountain on a solid, load-bearing wall. Connect the siphon to the waste pipe in the wall and the tap to the cold water pipe.
Clean the fountain with water, a pH-neutral natural stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Do not use acidic products, limescale removers or abrasive materials on natural stone. Clean the tap with a damp microfibre cloth and, if necessary, a mild soap; wipe it dry afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect hot water to this fountain set? No. The set has a cold water tap with one connection to the cold water pipe and only provides cold water. You therefore do not need a hot water pipe or boiler for this set.
At what height should I hang a fountain in the toilet? A common height for the top edge of a toilet fountain is approximately 85 to 90 cm above the floor. If the waste and water pipe still need to be installed, first determine the height of the fountain and then measure where they need to come out of the wall.
Can I also place the tap on the left? No. The tap hole is on the right and the fountain cannot be mounted in reverse, so the tap is always on the right.
How do I connect the fountain tap and the siphon? The tap has one connection, for the cold water pipe. The siphon included in the set has a horizontal waste pipe with a diameter of 32 mm and a length of 30 cm, which you connect to the waste pipe in the wall. If a 40 mm waste pipe comes out of the wall, use a 40 to 32 mm reducer.
