Litokol Starlike Finishes Copper is a color effect that you mix as a third component into Starlike EVO. The 100-gram sachet is pre-dosed for a 2.5 kg bucket, so you don't have to weigh it. It is therefore not an independent grout but an additive to a bucket that you buy separately.
Color & atmosphere
Copper gives the grout the reddish-brown shine of polished copper. A distinct choice that calls for calm tile work around it.
Product & application
Important: the metallic series works exclusively in combination with Starlike EVO 113 Neutro. If you mix Copper with a colored bucket, you will not get the effect you are paying for. So order the Neutro bucket as well.

Pay attention to the limits. Do not use a bucket with this effect outdoors — on terraces, balconies, facades and in swimming pools — as the additives have poor resistance to UV radiation. Also, do not use it on surfaces that come into contact with aggressive chemicals, such as industrial floors.
Substrate & compatibility
The requirements for the substrate are those of Starlike EVO itself: the joints must be clean, dust-free and open over the full tile thickness, and the tile adhesive must be completely dry and cured.

The effect is strongest on a surface exposed to daylight or artificial light. In a dark corner, you will see little of it.
Processing
First, mix the hardener (part B) into the colored paste (part A) of Starlike EVO, using a slow-rotating mixer, until a lump-free mass is formed. Then carefully pour in this sachet and gently mix it until it is evenly distributed.
- Pour in carefully: the powder is light and easily stirs up dust
- Mix at low speed, otherwise the product will splatter
- Apply with a rubber grout float, diagonally to the joint direction
- Most favorable between +18 °C and +23 °C
- Clean while the product is fresh
Do not add water or solvent to make it easier to spread. Below +10 °C, the mixture becomes thick and difficult to process, and curing takes much longer; do not start if the temperature drops below +10 °C within 24 hours. In warm weather, quickly spread the product over the surface, as the reaction heat in the bucket shortens the processing time.

Do I also need a bucket of Starlike EVO for this? Yes. This is an additive, not a grout in itself. The sachet is pre-dosed for a 2.5 kg bucket, which you order separately.
Can I mix this with a colored bucket? No. The metallic series is made for Starlike EVO 113 Neutro. With a colored bucket, you will not get the metallic effect.
Can I use this on my balcony or terrace? No. These additives have poor resistance to UV radiation and are therefore only intended for indoor use. For outdoor use, use a regular EVO color without effect.
How do I prevent the powder from dusting? Pour it slowly into the already mixed bucket and keep the mixer speed low. The powder is very light, so pouring quickly or mixing hard will cause it to stir up.
