Anthracite is the most distinctive colour in the series. The dark concrete look with a matte finish and slight colour nuances per tile (V2 variation) creates a calm yet striking surface. The colour makes light facades, wood, and greenery stand out, and is a popular choice for a sleek, contemporary patio.
Application & use
The 3 cm thickness makes this tile suitable for loose laying on gravel or sand, and for placement on tile pedestals. This allows you to create a patio, garden path, or seating area, even around a pond or swimming pool. The R11 slip resistance provides grip in wet weather, and the frost-resistant ceramic remains colourfast outdoors all year round. Please note that a dark tile will get warmer in full sun than a light-coloured one.

Tiler tips
- Lay on a stable, water-permeable sub-base of gravel or coarse sand, or use tile pedestals for a perfectly level patio.
- When laying loosely, keep the joint open so that rainwater can drain away properly.
- Cutting should be done wet with a diamond disc; 3 cm ceramic is hard and heavy.
- Factor in approximately 10% cutting loss when ordering.
- Work from the same batch and mix tiles from multiple boxes so that the slight colour variation (V2) is nicely distributed.
