With the LANDMANN Smoker Vinson 200, the exclusive design meets a versatile grilling application with the 4-in-1 function - direct and indirect grilling, smoking and the classic American BBQ. The 16 inch (= 42 cm) Vinson Smoker consists of a firebox and the cooking chamber, which can be used in different ways for different cooking methods.
The solid, enamelled grill racks (70.5 x 39.5 cm, 3 parts) store the desired target temperature for the perfect grilling result. Another advantage of the grill grates is that they are easy to clean. The scope of delivery includes grill grates and charcoal grates for the firebox and cooking chamber to make optimal use of the various functions. The working height is approximately 90 cm.
An American BBQ :
With the American BBQ, a fire is made in the firebox with wood, charcoal or briquettes. The temperature is set using the ventilation buttons on the side of the combustion chamber. The food to be grilled is placed on the charcoal grills in the cooking chamber. The smoke and heat generated ensures that the food to be grilled is "smoked" (= cooked) through an opening between the firebox and the cooking chamber.
Direct grilling : The food to be grilled is placed and grilled directly above the heat source in the firebox or in the cooking chamber.
Indirect grilling : The food to be grilled is placed in the cooking chamber or in the firebox next to the heat source.
Smoking : Smoke is generated in the combustion chamber by smoking chips/wood chips and the temperature is adjusted using the ventilation controls on the side of the combustion chamber. The food to be smoked is placed on the charcoal grills in the cooking chamber. The food to be grilled is smoked by the smoke produced through an opening between the firebox and the cooking chamber.
The specially developed LANDMANN smoker design promises maximum air circulation in the cooking chamber. The wall thickness of the Vinson 200 is 1.5 mm (lid) / 1 mm (fire bowl): an advantage is the constant temperature that can be maintained in the cooking chamber.
